Timisoara Life&Bytes partners with Biomentorhub, Creo Incubator and Banat IT in building up and unrolling, Start-in-Biotech micro-bootcamp.

This series of four 90 minutes long interactive online events scheduled daily, between 19:00 and 20:30, from December 16th and 19th, aims to explore various aspects of the biotech industry, from both professional and entrepreneurial perspectives.

Beyond the short lectures, panel discussions with inspiring professionals, this series of evening events will offer participants the possibility to network with like-minded professionals, potentially conducive to joint exploration of the field within future hackathons, incubation programs and other community building evnets.

Participation is free, donations to support development of further activities are encouraged.

- join as a volunteer in building the non-formal educational side of the BioArt Revolution project
- be a visitor of the Sep 18th - Oct 1st exhibition by the British bioartist Anna Dumitriu
- learn various life science lessons through microbiology, molecular biology experiments or bioinfomatics processing and visualing of biologic data
- meet Romanian and foreign researchers and artists who will expose you to the most advanced and paradigm changing fields of biology, biotech, synthetic biology or bioinformatics

Expect to be amazed by the variety and approachable complexity of a domain that will change the way the world will look over the next 10-15 years! And, who knows, you may decide to contribute to this change!

Toți tinerii vizitatori ai ”laboratorului fără ziduri” al BioCoderDojo Timisoara de la POLI Kids Fest / Petrecere de 1 iunie au utilizat sau urmărit utilizarea echipamentelor MiniOne System achiziționate în cadrul proiectului Timisoara Life&Bytes pentru a le oferi elevilor timișoreni oportunitatea de a experimenta în zona de convergență a științelor vieții și tehnologiei informației.

Proiectul Timisoara Life&Bytes a fost implementat de Asociatia One Source, Asociația Biomentorhub și Colegiul National Banatean Timisoara, cu sprijin oferit de Primăria Municipiului Timișoara și Consiliul Local Al Municipiului Timisoara, printr-o finanțare acordată în cadrul Programului Tineret, derulat de Centrul de Proiecte Timișoara.
