π What does WISE stand for?
WISE stand for Financial Intelligence of Immigrant Women for Independent Stability and Empowerment and this is the main aim of our European project.
π Why does WISE matters?
Many migrant women face barriers to financial independence, including limited access to financial education, language difficulties, unfamiliarity with banking and credit systems, and low confidence in using digital financial services. WISE responds to these challenges through accessible, practical, and culturally inclusive learning opportunities that support long-term economic stability and empowerment.

π A regular working meeting of the partners of the Erasmus+ project WISE4Women β Financial Intelligence of Immigrant Women for Independent Stability and Empowerment recently took place.
The meeting provided an important opportunity to review the current progress of the project, coordinate upcoming activities, and further strengthen cooperation among all partners.
π― The main goal of WISE4Women is to equip adult educators and learners β especially immigrant women β with financial literacy, economic resilience skills, and practical financial knowledge. Through this initiative, the project aims to help women confidently navigate financial systems, make informed decisions, and achieve greater economic independence.
During the meeting, partners continued their work on WP2: Financial Intelligence Competence Framework, a key project result that will serve as a structured foundation for future learning materials, training activities, and practical tools.
A sincere thank you to all project partners for their dedication, valuable contributions, and strong collaboration. Together, we are making steady progress toward empowering immigrant women through financial education, inclusion, and European cooperation.

WISE: Building Financial Confidence for Immigrant Women
Financial confidence is more than knowing how to manage money β it is about independence, security, and the ability to make informed decisions in everyday life.
For many immigrant women, adapting to a new country also means learning a new financial system: banking, budgeting, digital payments, consumer rights, savings, taxes, and protection from fraud. These topics can feel complicated, especially when language barriers and unfamiliar institutions create additional challenges.
The WISE project supports immigrant women by making financial education more accessible, practical, and empowering.
Through knowledge, skills, and real-life learning tools, WISE helps women strengthen their confidence, understand their rights, manage their resources, and take active steps toward long-term economic independence.
Because when women gain financial confidence, they gain more than information β they gain choice, stability, and the power to shape their own future.
