WASOG Conference 2022

🔸Systemic diseases and ILDs session started with 𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐮 followed by 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐚 – 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐇𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐧 – 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐝 and their perspective on CTD-ILDs.
𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐧 introduced us to the subject of Antisynthetase syndrome.

Very comprehensive presentations with a lot of useful information.

🔸Second session of sarcoidosis of the day.
𝐃𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐫 opened the discussion on Extrapulmonary sarcoidosis, followed by 𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐁𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐦𝐚𝐧 with his two presentations: Diagnosis: when biopsy is not needed, New treatments in sarcoidosis.

🔸Sarcoidosis session, on third day of WASOG Conference.
𝐈𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚̂𝐦𝐛𝐮 started the session talking about the New guidelines in sarcoidosis and was followed by 𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐦𝐮𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐜𝐡 with his talk on CT patterns in sarcoidosis.
Last but not least, 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐣𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐢𝐧 𝐃𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 offered a very comprehensive speech on Impact and limitations of sarcoidosis.

🧬The day continued with Astra Zeneca Pharma Symposium about Re – evaluating mortality in COPD, performed by 𝐈𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚̂𝐦𝐛𝐮.
