She really does convey a lot of emotion with apparently so little because she's actually quite restrained when singing...I mean this girl can clearly belt when she wants too, it's pretty clear on this song 🔥

I always used to imagine it was me in the Hollywood Tonight music video as a small Michael Jackson fan
Now I finally got to act it out a little bit, so that was immensely fun for me 🥰
Fun fact: since I keep seeing online comments about how Mike used autotune for the backing vocals, I would just like to point out the fact that autotune was not invented at that point (autotune was invented in 1997 while Liberian Girl was released in 1989). It's just layers and layers of Mike singing really nice and on pitch, remember those days? I do 🥹
