Today we celebrate Earth Day, a global initiative launched in 1970 by Senator Ga***rd Nelson to raise awareness of environmental challenges such as pollution and ecological disasters.

Its message remains urgent: protecting our planet requires collective action and long-term commitment.

🌱 Act today for a sustainable tomorrow.

Through a transdisciplinary and participatory process conducted in four European countries – Spain, Finland, Portugal and Romania – with the support of technical partners in Hungary and Greece, ECF4CLIM developed, tested and validated this Roadmap for Sustainability Competences through multiple phases. Data was
collected through crowdsourcing, and the initial roadmap was tested using participatory action research in project schools and universities.
