We were happy to bring the 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘅 experience back to Bucharest through 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞, part of the 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘅 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘀 series, which took place on May 17th at the 𝘊𝘻𝘦𝘤𝘩 𝘊𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘦.
The evening brought together sound, nature and technology in a contemporary musical experience inspired by the memory of trees.
Conceived by British composer 𝘎𝘳𝘢𝘩𝘢𝘮 𝘍𝘪𝘵𝘬𝘪𝘯 (UK), the project followed a symbolic route across Europe, connecting communities from ten countries through stories, field recordings and soundscapes built around representative trees and local ecosystems.
Led by British composer and pianist 𝘎𝘳𝘢𝘩𝘢𝘮 𝘍𝘪𝘵𝘬𝘪𝘯 (UK) – piano, keyscanner, the performance brought together 𝘊𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘹 𝘘𝘶𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘵 (RO): 𝘓𝘶𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘯𝘢 𝘋𝘶𝘮𝘪𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘶 – Violin I, 𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘣𝘦𝘭 𝘊𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘶 – Violin II, 𝘌𝘮𝘮𝘢 𝘗𝘰𝘱𝘢 – Viola, 𝘋𝘢𝘯𝘢 𝘊𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘢𝘯𝘢 𝘔𝘢𝘤𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘪 – Cello and 𝘈𝘯𝘥𝘳𝘦𝘪 𝘈𝘯𝘵𝘰𝘯 – Double Bass, alongside visuals by 𝘐𝘰𝘢𝘯𝘢 𝘉𝘰𝘥𝘢𝘭𝘦 (RO).
Closing the evening, 𝘈𝘭𝘦𝘹𝘪𝘢 𝘋𝘢̆𝘯𝘢̆𝘤𝘪𝘤𝘢̆ (RO) performed 𝘚𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘢 1.X.1905 “𝘍𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘵” by 𝘓𝘦𝘰𝘴̌ 𝘑𝘢𝘯𝘢́𝘤̌𝘦𝘬, bringing into the space an expressive and deeply human homage to Czech musical heritage.
Many thanks to for hosting this evening and for supporting artistic encounters that bring contemporary music and cultural dialogue closer together.
