Remember the outdoor cinema "Tomis Garden"? I do! As I recall all cinemas from my childhood. There is none anymore! Watching a movie was a cultural act. You were going to the cinema as you were going to the theatre. Now, you are doing some shopping and also "consume" a movie in one of the rooms of the mega-malls, with a bucket of popcorn and the related toxic juice.
Who let cinemas die and why? I know the answers as you know them too. For years, the "Tomis Garden" cinema functioned as a tavern in the summer and skating rink in the winter.
