Andrei Gavrilița (b. 2001, Republic of Moldova) is a visual artist, graphic designer and PhD student, currently based in Bucharest, Romania. In his practice, he mainly uses photography in creating long-term conceptual and documentary projects. In his documentary photography, he examines infrastructural underdevelopment, environmental negligence, and economic inequality in the Romanian landscape. His conceptual works question photography and representation in a post-digital context, while exploring topics like virtual worlds, the computer screen and advertising.

means Nicolas Hermann:
is a French visual artist based in Paris. His practice unfolds through photography, video and immersive installations, exploring liminal spaces, altered perceptions and the porous boundary between the tangible and the invisible. His artistic trajectory has been shaped by several international residencies, notably in Beirut and Marfa, Texas, which led to his first solo exhibition, Laniakea.

In 2017, his experimental film Distortion was selected for the experimental category at the Pontault-Combault Short Film Festival. In recent years, his work has been presented in exhibitions and institutions including PEP New Talents 2021, the Kommunale Galerie in Berlin, the Beaux-Arts de Nantes, and the 69th edition of Jeune Création.

Through a research-based and sensory approach, Hermann develops atmospheric visual narratives where light, texture and distortion become tools for questioning perception and reality.
