Before the pull requests, the code reviews, and the sprint planners, there were scraped knees, summer afternoons, and zero deadlines. 🧡

Happy International Children's Day from the Wayfare team.

We may have grown up, but we like to think we kept the best parts: the curiosity, the "what if we tried this?", the stubborn refusal to give up when something isn't working yet.

Here's to the kids we were, and the builders we became. 🚀

Next stop: Nantes

On June 3–4, Nicolas will be joining the PUG Francophone community and taking the stage to talk about something that’s quickly changing how we build software. Follow us for more information about his session & if you’ll be in Nantes, come say hi 👋

Always happy to connect, exchange ideas, and learn from the community.

Last week, we had the opportunity to spend time on-site with the team at Proponent in Alphen aan den Rijn.
Our colleagues Emil, Tudor, and Andrei worked side by side with the Proponent team, not just discussing ideas, but diving into real challenges together.
Because the best solutions happen in conversations, in shared context, and in collaboration.

Thank you to the Proponent team for the warm welcome and open collaboration.
Looking forward to what we’ll build next, together.

Ready, set, CODE! 🏁🚀
We take our Progress OpenEdge Pre-Employment Training seriously, but as you can see from our co****le games, we’re all about a great team vibe. 🎯

Starting July 20th, 2026, we’re launching an 8-week, 6h/day intensive program. It’s designed as a direct pathway to a full-time backend developer job with us at Wayfare.

We're looking for:

Final-year students or recent grads with a solid grasp of OOP, databases, and algorithmic thinking.
Curious, proactive minds who have built a few university or personal projects.
English-speaking team players ready to learn from our mentors.

Want a sneak peek of what you'll learn? We’ve made our public code samples open-source so you can get a glimpse of the OpenEdge syntax ahead of time:

👉 Check out the repo: https://lnkd.in/d3DnrYYc

How to join the journey: Head to our application form, tell us about a project you're proud of, and dive into the repo to get a head start.
We're extra happy if you share with us your thoughts on it.

Let's make continuous progress together! 🚀
