The guides of the journey:
Sandra Horea
Sandra Horea, also known as Rooted Vulture, is in a passionate love affair with the wild depths and the generative deaths. She is a mythic artist - devoting herself to creating and holding spaces of transformation where images, dreams, eroticism and whisperings of Soul and Mystery can move, emerge and feed the gods and goddesses. A priestess of ancient ways wearing the garbs of a modern soul guide.
Over the past 14 years, Sandra Horea has become well known for guiding hundreds of people from across Europe in eco-soulcentric human development practices, Soulcraft and Wild Mind, through her organisation Actions for Change, which she founded and has been coordinating for the past 11 years. Through wild and deep tended spaces, she invites soul to surface, weaving depth psychology, somatic practices, story, poetry and deep imagination into the deep art of becoming.
Her artistry is to listen for what is ready to die, so that deeper love may emerge.
Her work is rooted in her 10-years of experience training and apprentice-guiding as a Soul Initiation Guide (SAIP) for the Animas Valley Institute, a nature-based mystery school based in Colorado, under the mentorship of renowned founder Bill Plotkin and other highly experienced senior guides.

Lelde Gusta (Apprentice Guide)
Lelde is a facilitator, artist, and space-holder from Latvia, dedicated to the transformative power of art, community, and nature-based practices. With over nine years of experience in international projects, she crafts immersive experiences where creativity and deep reflection foster authentic connection and personal growth.
As an artist, Lelde designs workshops for local communities, exploring the interplay between spaces and human interaction. She creates opportunities for artists to express themselves, be seen, and embrace their gifts without hesitation—curating exhibitions and artistic gatherings that nurture both transformations and self-exploration.
Deeply engaged in continuous learning, she has participated in multiple Anima Valley courses and remains passionate about expanding her knowledge. She is also apprenticing Pirts—the traditional Latvian sauna practice—seeking to reconnect with ancestral wisdom and the profound power of contrasts.

Art. Is. Essential.
It gives shape to our existence, language to our emotions and expression to the way each of us perceives the world. In a time when life is often organized around speed, productivity and efficiency, art invites us back into presence, into listening, feeling and creating meaning.
‘What Art Are You?’ is a learning mobility program that brings together people from Latvia and Romania to explore how creative practices and nature-based approaches can support inclusion, personal development and meaningful work with people.

Rainer Maria Rilke writes:
“You must give birth to your images. They are the future waiting to be born.”
This is not only about making art. It is about allowing something inner -
something not yet fully formed - to take shape through you.
Images are not only visual. They are your inner visions, felt truths, longings, dreams, and myths. The quiet impressions that arrive in stillness, in nature, in grief, in love. The things you sense before you understand.
To give birth to them means not trying to control or perfect them too soon, but carrying them, listening closely, and letting them emerge with care and courage.
Because what you dare to express does not stay only with you.
It becomes part of the world.
It touches others.
It opens pathways that did not exist before.
And in that, there is a certain responsibility -
to listen, to trust, and to let what is alive within you find its way into form.
Join us for a 10-day What Art are YOU? Erasmus+ program in Romania, from 3.07 to 14.07 - a space where you are supported to listen to these inner images, to stay with them, and to gently bring them into form through nature-based practices and creative-embodied expression.
The participation is fully funded by Erasmus+.
