Today marks the beginning of Evaluarea Națională 2026 — an important milestone for eighth-grade students across Romania.

To every student taking this step: trust in your preparation, approach each challenge with confidence, and remember that every learning journey is shaped by far more than a single result.

As the school year comes to a close, we also wish our students, educators, families, and educational communities a restful and well-deserved summer break.

May the weeks ahead bring confidence to those sitting their examinations and meaningful moments of rest and renewal to everyone across our learning community.

Our final Education Coordinators meeting of the 2025–2026 academic year took place at ICHB Colentina.

It was a day shaped by dialogue, collaboration, and shared learning. The meeting began with a briefing and discussion session, bringing Education Coordinators together to exchange ideas and look ahead to the next steps in our schools.

One of the most meaningful parts of the day was the wantED session, “Empowering Students at ICHB Colentina”. As both the host school and the presenter of this best practice sharing moment, ICHB Colentina offered a valuable example of how student voice and engagement can become part of a wider professional learning experience.

The programme also included Flash Talks from our coordinators, adding different perspectives and reflections to the day.

A heartfelt thank you to ICHB Colentina for the warm welcome, thoughtful hosting, and inspiring contribution through wantED.

Thank you as well to all our Education Coordinators for their openness, participation, and continued collaboration.

These moments remind us that strong learning communities grow through sharing, listening, and learning together.

Today, we celebrate a meaningful reminder of how education connects communities, generations, and the future.

Inspired by the legacy of Gheorghe Lazăr and the foundations of Romanian education, this day honours the teachers who guide children through their first steps in learning.
