ICECHIM

✨ Last Saturday, we welcomed pre-university chemistry and physics teachers from Galați county as part of a NeXT-Chem 2026 – Trans-sectorial Innovative Technologies satellite event.

🤗 The meeting with the teachers was truly special, considering that many of them had never visited a research institute or any other institution in the field before. We were happy to help them “check off” a professional—and, why not, a personal—goal. A few of those present told us they had done internships with us during college.

👥 Since the teachers are members of the Romanian Chemical Society, our colleague, Verona Iordache, joined the event as the society’s vice president and gave a presentation on the benefits of membership.

💬 General Manager Mihaela Doni and Technical Director Radu Fierăscu told the guests about ICECHIM from its beginnings to the present and highlighted some of the most important recent results. At the same time, a presentation on the parallel between investigation and research took place.

💻 Our colleague Grigore Pșenovschi assisted the teachers with several digital teaching tools, designed to make students more interested in the exact sciences, which, unfortunately, many find unappealing. The key lies in how chemistry and physics are presented.

👀 Vinerea trecută am avut bucuria de a primi în vizită o altă echipă de robotică: Sparktech #24345. Dorința elevilor de a afla cm se desfășoară activitatea unui INCD în chimie, dincolo de ușile laboratoarelor, ne motivează să ne ducem zi de zi misiunea la capăt.

🫂 Mulțumim și noi echipei de robotică pentru vizită și pentru schimbul de informații atât de valoros! Porțile ICECHIM sunt mereu deschise pentru astfel de întâlniri.
