Connections (CC) is among the companies with the highest market capitalization growth on Romania's capital market / Bursa de Valori Bucuresti - from RON 64 million on its first trading day to RON 178 million today, a 177% increase.

This result places us 3rd in the ranking of capitalization growth among companies listed on the Bucharest stock exchange, from 2020 to present, according to the latest analysis by Ziarul Financiar.

Behind this ranking lies a strategy of
✔️ refocusing on profitability (higher value-added activities),
✔️ complex projects with real impact (government, cybersecurity, AI)
✔️ and financial discipline.

"Over the past few years we've made some counterintuitive decisions, like giving up a division that brought in revenue, in order to gain profitability. What we actually did was redirect the company's focus toward three directions: real value-added services, an R&D strategy built around AI integration, and a strong position in govtech. Thank you to the investors who are with us on this journey - we might be the ones reporting this growth, but we're building it with you." Bogdan Florea & Radu Marcu, co-CEOs, Connections.

What does digital sovereignty actually mean?
Not building everything ourselves. Not isolating ourselves from the rest of Europe. And definitely not putting a flag on a server and calling it strategy.

In a recent discussion on Aleph Business, Bogdan Florea - founder & coCEO, shared this perspective: digital sovereignty starts with knowing where your critical data sits, who controls the keys, and whether you have the people capable of operating and developing the technology, not just buying it.

A few other ideas from the conversation stayed with us:
🔹 Technology alone does not create progress. Many digital investments become simple expenses if they are not adopted, used, and connected to real needs.
🔹 You cannot digitalize broken processes and expect better outcomes. Technology amplifies what already exists — good or bad.
🔹 Cybersecurity should start much earlier than it does today. Not at the end of a project, but from day one. And not only in organizations, but through education, starting from school.

But perhaps the most important takeaway is this:
👉 Technology is becoming easier to buy. What remains difficult to build are the capabilities, culture and expertise needed to use it well.

Meet our Connectors: Andreea Corcodel on coordination and collaboration on IT Projects 17/06/2026

“Public sector digital projects move slowly.”
That’s one of the most common assumptions in tech.
But what happens when the right teams, processes and coordination are already in place?

In the newest episode of 👉 https://tinyurl.com/mupktbyh, Andreea Corcodel, Project Manager at Connections, gives one example of a public sector software project that was delivered 3 months ahead of time thanks to better internal processes.

Aligning teams, managing dependencies, keeping communication active and making fast decisions under pressure while maintaining delivery standards sounds like a regular day on the job for Andreea.

For us, complex projects move forward because ex*****on is treated as seriously as technology itself.
And sometimes, with the right people involved, even public sector projects can move faster than expected.

Meet our Connectors: Andreea Corcodel on coordination and collaboration on IT Projects In an IT project, deliverables, deadlines, and technology are only part of the equation. Behind the scenes, there is constant coordination, quick decision-making, and the ability to keep teams on the…

What happens when a listed tech company focuses on long-term value creation?

In the Investor Relations discussion held on May 20, Bogdan Florea and Radu Marcu - Connections coCEOs, talked about the strategic decisions behind Connections’ evolution:
from monetizing the Service Delivery division
to accelerating investments in GovTech, AI and Cybersecurity.

Some of the key ideas discussed:
👉 Connections has evolved from small custom software projects to large-scale digital infrastructure and GovTech projects, with tech vertical growing 9x last year alone.
👉 AI is already integrated across the company's internal workflows, software delivery and future proprietary products
👉 Our Cybersecurity philosophy and practice are about application-level resilience and secure-by-design architecture
👉 The public sector remains one of the world’s largest technology spenders, and one of the biggest opportunities for Connections to create meaningful digital transformation.

To showcase our expertise with big, complex projects, Bogdan & Radu talked about 🔹 PREVENT 🔹, the platform we developed for the National Integrity Agency (ANI), capable today of analyzing millions of public procurement procedures annually in order to detect conflicts of interest, a project that shows how technology can increase institutional capacity at scale.

Watch the rest of the conversation to learn about:
✔️ how Connections evaluates its pipeline and budgets growth
✔️ why the company is approaching international expansion cautiously
✔️ and how the group structure supports both product development and delivery capacity
