Five chefs and one helper, three baristas, five front of house, one manager, two cleaners, one driver – our 18 Superheroes in disguise!
Most of you can’t even imagine how much work is done in a high volume coffee shop like Frudisiac. Especially at lunchtime or during weekends, when things get heated. 
Here is what it looks like from the other side of the table…
Setting the place for a new day – glasses piled up, vitamin-packed infused water jugs filled. Coffee grinder adjusted. Reverse osmosis checked. Pulling up a couple of espresso shots. Readjusting the grinder. Fruits and veggies washed and cut for being juiced later on. Cold pressed juices lined up on the bar display. Sweets stacked neatly in the cold counter. Seasoning and dressing containers refilled. Plants watered. Fruits and veggies baskets restocked. Consumable dispersers refilled. Cutlery folded. Black board written. Kitchen prep done for the day. Soup and salad of the day done and ready to be served for lunch. Our frontliners ready to take orders. Rush hour survival mode on. Lots, but lots of plates and glasses are being washed up. Tons of coffees are brewed and smoothies juiced at the bar. Our chefs are handing beautifully plated dishes one after another. Service completed. Waste bins emptied. All floors swept and mopped. All bar and kitchen equipment cleaned up. All fridges cleaned, rotated and restocked. Orders placed for the upcoming day – packaging, consumables, ingredients. Tables and all surfaces wiped off. Closing out the till at the end of the day. Windows and doors locked up. Lights turned off. 
Yes, it can be a draining job, but the feeling you get when someone compliments you and the people you meet are so worth it.

Please note that we will be closing early today, at 6 PM, for the annual crew party. A big T H A N K  Y O U to all our staff for their hard work and dedication and to our lovely customers for their loyalty over the past 3 years. •
