What an extreme pleasure to be a part of this wonderful event for a cause. The Compassionate Connoisseur partners with Rotary Club Palermo for an art and wine tasting night filled with elegance and charity, all for Asociata Mariuța, a non-governmental organization dedicated to save the lives of animals. When I got offered this opportunity, I didn't hesitate to say yes, aside from the honor to represent the Philippines, I also had a chance to showcase my creativity and work with these amazing people! I'm just continuously in awe of what Romania has been giving me since I moved here. Mulțumesc frumos pentru invitație. Cheers to many more to come! Daghang salamat. 😻

Working with glass pieces has always been a fascination of mine since my university years. I never wanted to blow one but I remember making a neckpiece using broken wine glasses, carefully polishing its sides to avoid death by dumbness. 😅 This new craft I've gotten myself into is as fascinating as I thought it would be, It combines analysis and welding skills. However what surprised me was that glass has a tendency to form on its own in quite a liberating way. It was refreshing to lose control for a bit and work with assymetry, irrationality and imperfection.
