La La Land is officially dancing its way to the stage.

The Academy Award-winning film starring Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling is being adapted into a Broadway musical, with development already well underway.

Directed by Bartlett Sher and produced by Marc Platt, the show will feature a book by Pulitzer Prize winner Ayad Akhtar and Matthew Decker, with the film’s original songwriters Benj Pasek and Justin Paul returning to bring their music to life on stage.

Workshops have been taking place in New York - and it looks like we’re one step closer to another “day of sun.”
