Starting the Brooklyn countdown is Marius Petrache who will make his debut for Team Cinelli Chrome. In Milano last year a disappointing qualifying run left him in the Last Chance Race. From there, after a long solo breakaway, he finished 2nd. In the final he worked his way forward to go on yet another solo break, winning the mid-race prime and ultimately finishing 10th. For his effort, and never say die attitude, he picked up the Rockstar Games Top Antagonist award. The Romanian has multiple national titles in cross, road, mtb, and on the track.
