Founded in 1991, the Faculty of Political Science, University of Bucharest set itself the objective of institutionalising political science as an important and autonomous domain in the area of academic research. Our mission is to conduct in-depth research in the field of political science and form students at high academic standards. The Faculty of Political Science stands out as a unique academic institution in Romania given its multilingual educational dimension, true to its European spirit. Our institution offers students complete BA tracks in one of the three following languages: Romanian, French or English. Students have thus the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of the main political science concepts and theoretical approaches in a foreign language and to acquire a fundamental understanding of the Romanian political system, European institutions or international relations.

Institut Français d’Études Anatoliennes, Istanbul, Turquie

L’IFEA (Institut Français d’Études Anatoliennes /Fransız Anadolu Araştırmaları Enstitüsü) est un établissement français à Istanbul qui relève du Ministère des Affaires Étrangères et Européennes et du CNRS. Il a pour vocation d’impulser, de diriger des recherches en sciences humaines et sociales, en sciences de l’Antiquité, recherches qui ont pour objet les territoires de la Turquie et de l’Empire ottoman. L’IFEA offre un profil très diversifié, propice aux échanges entre disciplines : les sciences humaines et sociales (anthropologie, démographie, géographie, histoire, sociologie, science politique et économique, voire musicologie) y voisinent avec les techniques de l’archéologie et du classement et de l’analyse des textes écrits. Établissement à compétence régionale, l’Institut développe des programmes couvrant le Caucase et les Balkans. En règle générale, ses activités sont conduites en coopération avec d’autres centres, français, européens ou locaux.

New Bulgarian University, Sofia, Bulgaria

New Bulgarian University was established on September 18, 1991 by decision of the Grand National Assembly. In December 2006 NBU received institutional accreditation for a maximum period. Since 2004, the NBU has been approved by The Open University in the UK, as an appropriate organisation to offer higher education programmes leading to Open University Validated Awards. The University in Bulgaria introduces first credit system, the teaching of professional degrees, bachelor’s and master’s degree, distance and continuing education. Personalities of world renown are honorary professors and honorary doctors of the NBU, including – Richard Rorty, Vera Mutafchieva, Julia Kristeva, Jean-Pierre Vernant , Milcho Leviev, Robert Young, Raina Kabaivanska, Lord Ralf Dahrendorf, Terry Eagleton and others. NBU’s educational philosophy is based on the idea of liberal education, connecting the acquisition of knowledge and professional specialization with general spiritual development.

DEU was founded on July, 20th 1982 by Higher Education Instututes Foundation Law no: 41 with the aim of training people in a wide range of diciplines like health, economy, art, engineering, etc. in order to contribute to the financial, technical and social development of our society. DEU targets research as well as high quality and modern education.
