Thursday, June 25th, from 6 PM to 9 PM, we are excited to invite you to /SAC BERTHELOT 5 for the closing party of the international group exhibition „Rhythmic Stress / Tensiuni în ritm”. During the closing party, „Cinema Rhythmic Stress” will also be running, with projections of some of the video artworks presented in the exhibition.

„The curatorial intention behind the screening program “Rhythmic Stress Cinema” is to re-present and re-contextualize, through a “zoom-in,” a selection of video works from the exhibitions “Rhythmic Stress / Tensiuni în ritm” (/SAC @ UAUIM and /SAC Berthelot). This approach experiments with the contrast between different spatial arrangements: the transition from the simultaneous perception of the works in the exhibition space (the co-presence/co-perception of these time-based works all at once here-and-now in a zoom-out pirouette), to the focused cinematic perspective, which imposes a linear temporal progression of the video material, a viewing guided by the flow of time.” - Alex Radu
