🛁 SpongeBob’s Spa Day! ✂️💙
Who knew there was such a handsome chap hiding underneath all that fluff? 😍
Our wonderful SpongeBob has been for a well-deserved groom with the lovely Alexandra before he sets off on his biggest adventure yet… finding out what it’s like to be someone’s beloved best friend. 🐾
Abandoned, tied to a tree in the forest and left behind, he could so easily have lost his trust in people. Instead, he chose to keep believing in kindness.

And just look at him now. ❤️
Gone is the untidy coat that had seen him through his previous life, replaced with a smart new trim that’s shows off his cheeky smile even more!
A huge thank you to Karen Dinan, whose kind donation paid for SpongeBob’s pamper session, and to the lovely Alexandra for making him look and feel so incredibly handsome before he starts his new life.
From being tied to a tree in the forest… to getting ready to walk through the door of his forever home. Look out for the his happy bus post soon … 🏡🐾

Betsy Update ❤️
Betsy is the little girl I found in the forest on Thursday. She was painfully thin, weak, in pain, unable to walk and scared.
Her rescue: https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1F6xCuqBAg/?mibextid=wwXIfr
After X-rays, we discovered she had a severe hip dislocation, which explained why she was struggling so much.
Yesterday, we visited the orthopaedic specialist. Before considering surgery, he wanted to try the least invasive option first, a closed reduction, manually putting her hip back into place.
Thankfully, he was able to do it successfully.
Betsy's leg is now bandaged in a position to help keep the hip stable and prevent her from putting weight on it while everything has a chance to heal.
We don't know yet if this will be enough and there's still a possibility that surgery may still be needed if the hip doesn't stay in place but this gives her the best chance to recover without an operation, and it's absolutely worth trying.
She's around 4–5 years old, weighs just 12 kg, and despite everything she's been through, today she greeted me with the sweetest little waggy tail 🥹 After seeing her so defeated, that tiny wag meant more than words can say.
We also want to say a huge thank you to every single person who has supported Betsy so far. You have made it possible for us to get her the specialist care she needed. Your kindness, donations, shares and words of encouragement do not go unnoticed ❤️
At this stage, we still don't know exactly what the total cost of her treatment will be or whether she'll ultimately need surgery. What we do know is that we will do everything she needs, every step of the way, to give her the best possible chance at a pain-free, happy life. We won't stop until she's where she deserves to be.
Please keep Betsy in your thoughts over the coming days.
We're all hoping this little hip stays in place ❤️🙏🏼
Wherever I go, I pray for there not to be abandoned souls.
Today I went to the forest.
A place where dogs are thrown away.
A place where they hide from people because people are the reason they're there in the first place.
I go there to leave food and water because although you don't often see them, they're there... watching from a distance, surviving, existing rather than living and right now it’s so damn hot.
Today, as I looked around, I saw her.
A little girl.
At first I thought she was simply frightened. Who could blame her? But then I realised it was more than fear.
She was in pain.
She struggled to lift herself. One of her back legs wouldn't take her weight. Every movement looked difficult.
She was crawling with fleas, painfully thin, exhausted... another life that had been discarded and forgotten.
I wasn’t going to leave her there.
But I was alone, deep in the forest with no phone signal. My crate was in the car and she was in the this sort of hut, all I could think was, "Please don't leave."
I went to get it, hoping she wouldn’t panic and run.
She didn’t.
She hadn't moved.
For around half an hour I was with her, talking to her, gently encouraging and reassuring her.
I didn't want to rush her. She's already been through enough. I didn't want another human to be another frightening memory.
Slowly, something changed.
She looked at me... and she surrendered.
As if she knew she didn't have the strength to keep fighting anymore.
I got her into the crate, and together we left the forest.
The plan was simple: get her to the vets as quickly as possible. But just two minutes further along the road, more souls appeared who desperately needed help too... I'll share their story separately because they deserve to be seen as well.
Finally, we reached the clinic.
Our little girl has what appears to be a fractured pelvis and a dislocated hip. We are waiting for the orthopaedic specialist to assess, but one thing is certain...
She is going to need surgery.
Another life hanging in the balance. Another life depending entirely on the kindness of strangers.
Today her life has changed.. let's show her she has found something much better than she ever believed possible.
❤️ Would somebody like to become this girls sponsor and give her a beautiful name with a one-off donation of £30 please?

It’s been another long day, I’m driving home and I was sure that I saw a puppy close to the road..
The traffic was too fast to stop.
What’s 5 minutes more to go back and check..
Sure enough there was, a happy, innocent little boy.
Dumped under the bridge, his worldly possessions, an old coat and some bread 😢
I’m a little worried, I don’t like the smell that comes from him, a metallic smell, almost like blood/ iron. I pray it’s not parvo.
For now he has a huge appetite and normal temperature.. tomorrow we’ll take him to the vets for tests.
You’ve guessed it, he is in need of an identity please. Is there someone kind enough to sponsor him and give him his name for a one off donation of £30 🙏🏼
**Update** Kindly sponsored by Susan Grice and named Mickey 💙
Safe now little man 💙🙏🏼
