Train-O-Matic announces a new product for 2022: Function Decoders. It has many interesting features, including standard capacitor, but also SPP (Powerpack) connections and direct LED connections without the need of a resistor. As Facebook moderator of this Train-O-Matic page, I am not hired by the company. I do this, because I am impressed with the passion of the people and their drive to make the best products and give the best support. I point this out, as this week Train-O-Matic went way past the mark of the support you normally would hope for.
A German customer contacted me, as he had an issue with his decoder, a 6 pin decoder with a 90 degree angle. He needed such a decoder with the pins in the opposite direction. I contacted the support team of Train-O-Matic and they immediately made a custom decoder for this customer. This was directly sent to the customer and only 3 days after his initial contact with me, the customer received the new decoder already. Talking about suprise and delight! Not only the customer is impressed, so am I. Again.
