Sometimes the most valuable part of professional learning isn’t just what you learn.

A previous Buffalo State Master’s graduate, moved from Team Leader to Vice Principal once he finished his courses and had built solid relationships with educators from across his cohort.

A few years later, one of those colleagues reached out.

He was now leading a school in Japan and was looking for a Principal.

The call led to his next international move, a new step in his leadership journey, and another exciting chapter for his family.

Professional learning can build knowledge.

But it can also build networks, opportunities, and futures you never imagined when you first applied.

Professional growth rarely happens all at once.

It happens one course, one challenge, one opportunity, and one brave decision at a time.

When Gabbi first began her IGPE Teaching Micro Credential and later her Master’s degree, she couldn’t have known exactly where those steps would lead.

Since then, she has taught in Qatar across different curricula, grown as an educator, and built an international teaching career.

Now, she is preparing for her next chapter at an international school in Thailand. This is why we love what we do.
