أسعدني اليوم لقاء جميع الفائزين بجوائز “أخلاقنا” وتكريمهم لهذا العام. إنه لأمر مشرف أن نرى اليوم نماذج تستحق الاحتذاء بتجسيدها للقيم الأخلاقية التي تعبّر عنها الجائزة. إنّني حقاً لفخورة بهم وأثرهم الطيب في مجتمعهم.

Today, I was honoured to present this year’s Akhlaquna Awards and speak with the winners. Each of them embodies the values behind the Awards, and is worthy to be emulated. I am proud of them and their positive impact on our community.

من حدث تدشين منحوتة “عزم” من تصميم سعادة الشيخ حسن بن محمد آل ثاني. تجسّد هذه المنحوتة مكانة الوطن والعزيمة والإصرار على مواجهة التحديات، وتحاكي أيضًا ركائز مؤسسة قطر: التعليم والبحوث وتنمية المجتمع.
 
At the inauguration of the “Al Azzm” sculpture, created by His Excellency Sheikh Hassan bin Mohammed Bin Ali Al Thani. This piece reflects the determination of our nation to overcome the challenges it faces, and represents the three focus areas of Qatar Foundation: science and research; education; and community development.
