IESL Qatar Chapter Successfully Concludes 17th Annual General Meeting

The Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka (IESL) – Qatar Chapter successfully convened its 17th Annual General Meeting on 10 February 2026 at The Marhaba Banquet, The Royal Riviera Hotel, Doha, bringing together members, distinguished guests, and the wider engineering community for an evening dedicated to reflection, recognition, and renewed commitment.

The AGM commenced with registration and formal opening proceedings, followed by religious observance, welcome remarks, and the traditional lighting of the auspicious oil lamp. The program featured key addresses from the outgoing leadership, the Chief Guest, and Guests of Honour, along with the IESL Vice President’s message, financial presentation, sponsor's videos & acknowledgements, and appreciation of outgoing Executive Committee members.

The formal election process for the new Executive Committee was conducted, followed by the address of the newly elected Chairman, presentation of appreciation certificates, vote of thanks, national anthems, and a group photograph before concluding with fellowship over dinner.
