As many of you already know, sailing has been my passion for about 7 years now, and ever since I first saw the Volvo Ocean Race I've wanted to be a part of the sailing lifestyle, the hard work, the highs and the lows, abd most of all the teamwork needed. Today is the start of leg 1, Alicante, Spain to Lisbon, Portugal with 7 teams competing. Unfortunately I haven't had my call up yet (it will come soon hopefully!)
