Football Cookies ⚽

Ingredients

• 200g unsalted butter, at room temperature
• 120g icing sugar
• 1 large egg
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 350g flour
• 20g cornstarch
• A pinch of salt
• 15g cocoa powder

Method

1. Whisk the butter and icing sugar together for 2-3 minutes.

2. Add the egg and vanilla extract.

3. Add the flour, cornstarch, and salt.

4. Weigh the dough and divide it into two equal portions.

5. Add the cocoa powder to one portion to create the darker dough.

6. Wrap the two doughs and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Shaping

• Roll out small balls of dough, approximately 4-5g each.

• Arrange the light and dark balls to form a pattern resembling a football.

Baking

• Preheat the oven to 180°C.

• Bake the cookies for 12–15 minutes.

المكونات

• 200 غرام زبدة غير مملحة، بدرجة حرارة الغرفة
• 120 غرام سكر بودرة
• 1 بيضة كبيرة
• 1 ملعقة صغيرة فانيليا
• 350 غرام دقيق
• 20 غرام نشا الذرة
• رشة ملح
• 15 غرام مسحوق كاكاو

الطريقة

1. اخفقي الزبدة مع السكر البودرة لمدة 2–3 دقائق .
2. أضيفي البيضة والفانيليا
3. أضيفي الدقيق ونشا الذرة والملح
4. زني العجينة وقسميها إلى قسمين متساويين.
5. أضيفي مسحوق الكاكاو إلى أحد القسمين للحصول على العجينة الداكنة.
6. غلّفي العجينتين وضعيهما في الثلاجة لمدة30 –دقيقة.

التشكيل

• شكّلي كرات صغيرة من العجين بوزن 4–5 غرام تقريباً لكل قطعة.
• رتّبي القطع الفاتحة والداكنة لتشكيل نمط يشبه كرة القدم.

‎الخبز

‎• سخّني الفرن مسبقاً على درجة حرارة 180°م.
‎• اخبزي الكوكيز لمدة 12–15 دقيقية.
