Artist of the week
Jeffrey Lynn Koons, an American artist recognized for his sculptures depicting everyday objects, including balloon animals produced in stainless steel with mirror-finish surfaces.
'Jeff Koons: Lost in America’ exhibition has opened at QM Gallery Al Riwaq, located in the Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) Park. The exhibition presents a portrait of American culture as seen through Koons’s autobiography, beginning with his childhood and features more than sixty artworks drawn from Koons’s four-decades-long career and is divided into 16 galleries.
