COPA

Argentina is the current World Cup champion. Led by Lionel Messi, they won the final in a super close match against France. Even with Mbappe's brilliance, scoring a hat trick, the Argentine star was even more reluctant and the goalkeeper Martinez was essential in the winningvictory during the penalty shootout.

After that title, the Argentines now have 3 trophies, becoming the national team with the most titles in the history of soccer (counting all championships, in addition to the World Cup).

Champions in 1978 with the top scorer Mário Kempes, in 1986 with Diego Armando Maradona (the God of soccer for the Argentines), now Messi writes his name in the history of the sport, with the title of 2022, being, in fact, the player of this century.

Once again South American soccer is at the top of the world, the Hermanos (how Argentines are known by Brazilians) made a huge party in Buenos Aires, the country's capital to celebrate this title.

From now on, a new cycle begins for the 2026 World Cup, which, for the first time, will be hosted by three countries: Canada, the United States and Mexico.

See you there!

The film's synopsis reads:

"The definitive story of the man who personified soccer, which he called "the beautiful game", and how he changed the history of the sport".

It is true to say that there is soccer before and after Pelé. The king made history wearing the jersey of the Brazilian national team and Santos F.C.

The way he played stood out among other footballers of his time. He won 3 World Cups and scored over a thousand goals in his career. In fact, he is the first player to achieve this feat.

In addition, he had a certain contribution to soccer in the USA, since Pelé, at the end of his career, played for the New York Cosmos, scoring a few goals in North American fields.

This sport, during the period in which we had Pelé, was an important instrument of joy for a nation that lived under a terrible and cruel military dictatorship. Every 4 years, the population forgot a little about the suffering caused by the violence imposed by the regime and unitedly supported the Brazilian National team.

Pelé had an immense footballing importance for the history of the sport, however, for the time we lived in Brazil, the appearance and rise of Pelé also started to break a huge social problem, racism. The King of football was black, in a country that for a long time black people were prohibited from practicing the sport professionally, it was a paradigm shift and a process for racial equality started.

I'll stop here otherwise I'll give you a lot of spoilers!

Watch this documentary, Soccer will thank you!

Maybe Neymar is today one of the most known Brazilian characters in the world.

Since he was 11 years old, when he started playing for Santos F.C., he stood out for his ability with the ball on his feet. For many Brazilians, "Menino Ney" (as he is known to us) is an idol and the only living human being capable of bringing us another World Cup title.

Neymar's fame is noticed by all of us, but is he just that? The answer is: Definitely not.

The Brazilian idol is a genius not only on the pitch.

In December of 2014, the player inaugurated a non-profit institution, the "Instituto Projeto Neymar Júnior", which aims to expand opportunities for children, adolescents and their families in situations of social vulnerability.

The institution currently serves thousands of young boys and girs aged between 7 and 17 years, impacting more than 10,000 people. The project is maintained with his own resources, donations and partnerships with the private partners.

The Institute is located in Jardim Glória, in the city of Praia Grande, a community that has some difficulties that, by the way, he spent most of his childhood living there.

Neymar is extremely important for the Brazilian National team, but his greatest legacy will not be for what he did during his brilliant career, but for the lives of these young people that he has been transforming.

A Genius on the field and a good man out of it.

Keep dancing, Ney! Bring this Trophy to Brazil! Show the World the Brazilian way of soccer!
