Martial Arts Revelation

The medal is the result. This is the story.
Watching Angelo step onto the floor and compete at the WTSDA Region 1 Championship was one of my favorite moments of the weekend.
Competition has a way of testing more than technique. It tests focus, courage, preparation, and the ability to perform when the pressure is on.
Angelo trained hard for this opportunity. He pushed through the nerves, trusted his training, and stepped outside his comfort zone. That's what makes me proud.
The second-place medal is well deserved, but what I admire most is the growth that happened long before he ever stepped onto the ring.
This is what Perseverance looks like.
Congratulations, Angelo. This is just the beginning.

Tradition, wherever we stand.
No studio walls. No mirrors. Just a group of us on a tennis court in San Rafael, training, moving, and sharing in something bigger than ourselves.
Here we’re working on Bassai, a form rooted in strength, focus, and intention. Practicing it outdoors, surrounded by community, was a reminder that Tang Soo Do isn’t confined to a space, it lives in the people who carry it forward.
Grateful to celebrate Paresh Martial Arts’ anniversary this way, through training, connection, and continuing the lineage.
And of course… finishing the day with a BBQ, promotions, and well-earned recognitions made it even more meaningful.
Moments like this are what it’s all about.
