Amarün é um projecto de MartaMar e Nuno Pereira, que entrelaça a textura vocal feminina com a delicadeza das 21 cordas da kora, instrumento de origem africana, e da guitarra acústica.

Entre composições autorais e paisagens sonoras, convoca uma viagem que atravessa tempo e território, numa relação profunda com a ancestralidade do canto enquanto gesto ritual, inspirada por sonoridades portuguesas, brasileiras e africanas.

🇬🇧 Amarün is a project by MartaMar and Nuno Pereira, which melt the texture of female vocals with the delicacy of the 21 strings of the kora, an instrument of African origin, and the acoustic guitar.

Between original compositions and soundscapes, it evokes a journey that crosses time and territory, in a deep relationship with the ancestry of singing as a ritual gesture, inspired by Portuguese, Brazilian and African sounds.
