How to spend the perfect day in Copenhagen ✨
Copenhagen is one of those cities that’s impossible not to fall in love with. From colourful canals and fairytale castles to flower-filled streets and a bakery on seemingly every corner, it’s a city that invites you to slow down and explore.
📍 Things to do:
• Wander through Kongens Have, a beautiful park surrounding Rosenborg Castle right in the heart of the city.
• Stroll along Nyhavn, Copenhagen’s iconic waterfront lined with colourful houses, historic boats and lively cafés.
• Visit Tivoli Gardens, one of the world’s oldest amusement parks. In winter it transforms into a magical Christmas wonderland, but it’s worth visiting year-round.
• See The Little Mermaid and take a walk through the lovely waterfront parks nearby.
• Explore Un Mercato, a vibrant market with everything from local food to unique finds.
• If you have time, don’t miss Christianshavn and the colourful houses along the canals — one of my favourite areas to wander.
🍴 Where to eat:
• — their brunch platter is incredible and easily big enough to share.
• — some of the best pastries and croissants in the city.
• .cph — a delicious chicken Caesar sandwich that makes the perfect lunch stop.
• — don’t leave without trying the Snickers gelato.
Save this for your next Copenhagen city break 🇩🇰✨
