Lisbon-based producer and musician Moullinex (Luís Clara Gomes) masterfully blends the organic with the artificial, creating soundscapes that thrive both on the dancefloor and in moments of deep introspection.
A former astronomy researcher, Gomes draws inspiration from his scientific background, channeling influences ranging from Vangelis and Giorgio Moroder to Brazilian MPB. After gaining early acclaim through high-profile remixes for artists like Robyn, Royksopp, and Cut Copy, he co-founded the label Discotexas. With acclaimed albums like Flora, Elsewhere, and Hypersex, Moullinex has established himself as a versatile, multi-layered force in electronic and disco music.
