This is one of those days where I feel like my palette is the painting! I'm really enjoying working with these colors. They're a departure from some of my recent work. I'm loving the direction of my current painting.

I'm always interested in what will greet me when I walk through the door to my studio. I wrote this post as I reflected on those who inspire me and influence my thinking. As I am now engrossed in a new approach to my work, this post has great meaning for me.

I moved into a new studio in Matosinhos. The light is amazing, and I am thrilled to be here.

The space is shared; on weekends and occasional mornings, there are small group classes and workshops. The challenge I faced was creating movable walls that I can wheel out of the way when I’m not in the space.

These walls on wheels are the perfect solution! Thank you, Esteve and Rui.

I've returned to my oil painting roots since I closed my photography business and moved to Portugal in 2019. I still take photos, but mostly of sunsets, the ocean, places I've been and seen.

I'm thrilled to present my updated website, (see link below). It highlights Current and Previous Works in oil.

There's more to come - I'll soon add works on paper, and there's a completely different style emerging on canvas and paper that I'm calling my Monument Series.
