The iliopsoas muscle group is made up of the psoas major, and the iliacus. Together, they are the main flexors of the hip joint and play a super important role in stabilizing the core and lower body...seating for too long or general bad posture means they either tighten or become weak: only proper movement and breathing can keep the whole area in balance. Whether your nervous system is feeling disregulated because of small or big events within your immediate reach or way out there... you are not alone, there is so much going on, it can sometimes feel unbearable. Validate your experience, recognise how you feel, pick up the messages your body is sending you and take a quiet moment just for you, you deserve it. No one can regulate our nervous system, on we can do it for ourselves, our feelings will come and we can help them move through. It is not a part of the school curriculum, even though a lot of schools are bringing it in, but it certainly deserves more space.
