Casa da Floresta is the ground floor of a detached villa with 3 bedrooms all with air conditioned. The house has wifi and cable TV with many channels in foreign languages. It is located near the University, with many cafes and restaurants nearby. At 7 kms to the beach, 5 kms to the Faro old centre, 3 to the shopping mall. In Faro there are two theatres where you can assist concerts, the city council organize several events and fairs, you can do some trekking and see the salt flats and do bird watching. There are one centre of tennis / padel and another of horse riding in the neighborhood. There are buses going to the beach and town centre. You can also take tours to see the islands and the salt swamp (Ria Formosa) and several others. Visit the old castle, the cathedral and have lunch in one the restaurants in the old town.
