We’re glad to share this video from KOICA marking the opening of a new rehabilitation center in Ramallah — a step forward for inclusive healthcare.

At ASZ STUDIO, we’re proud to have prepared the feasibility study with the Ministry of Health and WHO, commissioned by KOICA, laying the groundwork for this and future health projects.

Drawing inspiration from traditional calligraphy and the timeless aesthetics of ancient manuscripts, we explored a design direction that feels rooted in history yet connected to the novel’s profound mythology. The intricate details, symbolic forms, and layered textures create a visual language reminiscent of religious texts, adding depth and reverence to the storytelling.
This approach honors the novel’s cultural and spiritual essence while presenting it in a design language that bridges the past and present.

بالاستلهام من الخط التقليدي (الفارسي هنا)، والجماليات الخالدة للمخطوطات القديمة، واستكشفنا اتجاهاً تصميمياً يبدو متجذراً في التاريخ ولكنه متصل بالأساطير. تخلق التفاصيل المعقدة والأشكال الرمزية والقوام المتعدد الطبقات لغة بصرية تذكرنا بالمخطوطات المقدسة، ليوازي التصميم ما تحمله الرواية من معنى.
يواكب هذا النهج الجوهر الثقافي والروحي للرواية مع تقديمها بلغة تصميمية تربط بين الماضي والحاضر.

The original cover of Al-Yaseera was designed by the author himself back in 1996. For the 2nd edition, we had the unique opportunity to redraw and subtly refine his original concept. It’s a design that holds history, creativity, and deep personal meaning.

تم تصميم الغلاف الأصلي لليسيرة من قبل المؤلف نفسه في عام 1996. في الطبعة الثانية، أتيحت لنا الفرصة الفريدة لإعادة رسم وصقل مفهومه الأصلي. التصميم بالتالي يحمل جزء من تاريخ وإبداع المؤلف الخاص، وما يترتب عليه من معاني.

While experimenting with “modernizing” the cover, we explored breaking traditional ornamentation, pushing boundaries with abstraction, and playing with mono, duo, or tri-color palettes. The result? A collection of dynamic and thoughtful designs, each offering a fresh interpretation of the novel's holistic narrative.
Here’s one of the concepts we presented—modern, abstract, and scaled to reflect the novel’s profound depth.

أثناء تجربة "تحديث" الغلاف، غصنا في مجاولة لكسر تجزئة الزخارف التقليدية، وتجاوز حدود بالتجريد، واللعب بطبقات أحادية اللون أو ثنائية أو ثلاثية الألوان. النتيجة كانت مجموعة من التصميمات الديناميكية والمدروسة.
