Thales Leads Opening Day of FIS Cybersecurity Partner Showcase 2025 in Istanbul

Istanbul – August 20, 2025

The FIS Cybersecurity Partner Showcase – Istanbul 2025 officially kicked off today, organized by Future Information Systems (FIS). The workshop brought together participants from various leading Palestinian institutions in the financial, insurance, and governmental sectors.

The event aims to:
• Showcase the latest global solutions and technologies in cybersecurity.
• Strengthen collaboration between Palestinian institutions and international partners.
• Support Palestine’s digital transformation journey by fostering strategic partnerships.

The opening day began with a welcome speech from Mr. Jihad Kaloub, General Manager of FIS, who emphasized that despite the challenges facing Palestine, its institutions continue to advance in digital transformation and technological innovation.

Following this, Mr. Tariq Othman, Regional Sales Manager at Thales, welcomed the guests, expressed his gratitude for their presence, and briefly introduced Thales and the importance of this workshop.

انطلقت اليوم أعمال ورشة FIS Cybersecurity Partner Showcase – Istanbul 2025، التي نظمتها شركة Future Information Systems (FIS) في مدينة إسطنبول، بمشاركة المؤسسات الفلسطينية من القطاع المالي، التأميني، الحكومي وغيرها.

تهدف الورشة، التي تستمر ثلاثة أيام، إلى:
• استعراض أحدث الحلول والتقنيات في مجال الأمن السيبراني.
• تعزيز التعاون بين المؤسسات الفلسطينية والشركاء الدوليين.
• دعم مسيرة التحول الرقمي في فلسطين من خلال بناء شراكات استراتيجية.

افتُتح اليوم الأول بكلمة للأستاذ جهاد كلوب، المدير العام لشركة FIS، الذي رحّب بالحضور وأكد على أن المؤسسات الفلسطينية تواصل مسيرتها نحو التطور الرقمي رغم الظروف الصعبة.

أعقب ذلك كلمة للسيد طارق عثمان، المدير الإقليمي للمبيعات في شركة Thales، الذي رحب بالضيوف وشكر حضورهم، وتحدث بإيجاز عن شركة Thales وأهمية هذه الورشة.
