Bisan Owda () has been nominated for a News and Documentary Emmy for her work with AJ+ on the series "It's Bisan from Gaza and
I'm Still Alive."
Since Oct. 7, Bisan has captured life during Israel's war on Gaza. Before that, she produced social videos showcasing Gaza's beauty and culture.
In June, she won a Peabody for the same series, accepting it from a refugee camp in occupied Gaza.
She was one of the youngest people to accept an award at this year's ceremony.
The Peabody Jury lauded her for "showing bravery and persistence in the midst of imminent danger and for carrying a heavy journalistic burden as the entire world
looks on."
