A week went and I was slowly getting use to move without using my right leg. It was hard because I love to move as fast as I can while thinking about a million things, but now...talk about mindfulness. I had to learn how to LIVE slowly. Be completely aware of every move so I wouldn't hurt myself or YIKES...fall. I was tolerating ice bags on my injury which helped a lot with the inflammation and pain....

After the surgery I went to my Mom's house to be taken care of. My Mom, Got bless her left me her bed. I tried to take a nap there but when I tried to get up, since her bed is really high I got hurt coming off it. So for the next 6 weeks I slept in a very hard but low futon in the guest room which felt perfect....
