La Croix Ducru-Beaucaillou – Saint-Julien 2019

The second wine of Château Ducru-Beaucaillou, La Croix is crafted from specific parcels of the estate, often including older vines. It offers a refined expression of Saint-Julien, aiming for both approachability and structure.

Aging: Aged for 12 to 18 months in French oak barrels, with a high proportion of new oak (up to 60%). Elegant in style, with solid aging potential.

Minerality, butter, and freshness. A refined match for the richness of pecorino and guanciale.

— Thillardon Chénas “Les Blémonts” 2022 – Beaujolais, France
Biodynamic Gamay with red fruit and floral lift. Light, fresh, and a perfect red to complement carbonara’s depth without overpowering.
