LTPR was proud to be represented once again at the Aerospace Maintenance Competition during MRO Americas Week’s 30-year celebration!

This event brings together top talent from across the industry, featuring a series of maintenance challenges that test the skills and knowledge essential to aviation maintenance technicians. It was a great platform to highlight our team’s capabilities while giving them a rewarding experience to grow.

A heartfelt farewell for CEO Joerg Speri. Last week, we gathered as one big team to celebrate a BBQ with games and a friendly basketball match to mark Joerg’s departure from Puerto Rico. A great moment to share a few laughs, look back into the fun memories and milestones, and send him off in a true Caribbean spirit. Colleagues from various departments shared meaningful words and gifts.

Joerg: thank you for your leadership, your energy, and for never being afraid to bring bold ideas to the table. You didn’t just shape the organization, you connected with the people behind it, challenged us to think bigger, and pushed us to go further than we thought possible.

You’ve left a lasting impact on LTPR in a professional and personal manner. We wish you all the very best for what’s ahead – keep inspiring and thinking outside of the box. You will always be part of our story! ✈️

We were pleased to welcome Marcus Motschenbacher to LTPR, this time as he prepared to officially step into the role of Interim Managing Director on May 1st, succeeding CEO Joerg Speri, who will be taking on a new professional challenge outside the LHT Group.

During his visit, he connected with multiple leaders across the organization and met with employees from all departments over lunch and afternoon coffee breaks, taking the time to understand our operations and the people behind them. Our facility and team's dedication left a positive impression on him, who also acknowledged the importance of balancing workload as we continue to grow.

A highlight was his participation in a scheduled foam fire suppression system test in one of our bays. This emergency system, which is tested every 5 years as required by the National Fire Protection Association, is aligned with our hangar classification, safety regulations, and operational set-up. It ensures the system is effective and ready to protect our people, aircraft, and infrastructure.

Seeing leadership engaged firsthand in this safety process reinforces our shared commitment to maintaining the highest standards. Thank you to everyone who participated in this event, especially our Facilities Team who put a lot of effort into making the test possible. And welcome to Marcus for his new role within our organization! ✈️
