We're incredibly proud to have designed the Coralboard™ - an development board being showcased right now at Google I/O 2026. 🪸

Built in collaboration with Synaptics and Google Research, the Coralboard™ is powered by the Synaptics Astra SL2619 SoC with a 1-TOPS NPU, and runs Google's Gemma 3 models directly on-device. Compact, power-efficient, and capable of real-time multimodal AI entirely at the edge.

Three live demos are running at the Gemma pavilion this week:

🪼 Jellectronica - a YOLOv8 model tracks jellyfish movement and feeds positional data into a MelodyRNN to generate music in real time. Entirely on-device.

🌍 Language Translation - speak a sentence and get a translation. MoonshineAI's speech-to-text model captures spoken words and passes them to Gemma 3 270M for translation.

🎙️ Voice Actions - control the physical world with your voice. Natural language commands are interpreted by FunctionGemma 270M and mapped directly to hardware - LEDs, buzzers, and more.
