Meet your teacher!

Hello! I’m Nola, and I’ve taught English for over ten years. Originally from Yorkshire, England I began my teaching adventure working with refugees in Manchester, before moving to China. In 2017 I came to Poland and fell in love with this beautiful country. I completed my studies in Montessori Education (ages 6-12) at the Duhovka Institute in Prague.

As well as teaching English, I spend the rest of my time working with dogs and cats around the city. I am mum to a rescue French Bulldog called Lolo, and together we love to travel and explore.

My passion is teaching children English in real-life situations, following the Montessori philosophy of ‘help me to do it myself’. I know how busy and hectic life can be and my goal is to make parents’ lives easier by running errands with their children, while teaching English in memorable and practical ways.

Fun and educational English language sessions with a Montessori qualified, Native British English Speaker.

From my years of working with children, I obverse that they learn best through experience; together we will go out, explore the city, and learn English as we enjoy real-life situations. With your child I will complete tasks you require assistance with:
Grocery shopping
Dog walks
Post office visits
Gardening
Bedroom cleaning
Cooking
We can also explore museums, galleries and malls together.
Visit parks on warmer days and observe the nature around us.
Take public transport and use it as a tool for learning.
Anything you need, I will be happy to assist and turn it into an educational experience for your child.

Classes can be combined with picking your child up from school/dropping them off at their next activity.

These activities offer boundless opportunities for vocabulary development, children’s confidence will grow as we talk in English for the duration of the session in a fun and meaningful way.

One to one ‘Practical Life’ sessions in person in the Wola area (other areas at additional fee)
Minimum 2 hour sessions 260pln plus 50pln for each additional child.
First session paid in advance and subsequent sessions paid in advance blocks of 4.
