“Don’t be so emotional.”
Words once meant to quiet — now reclaimed as a starting point.
This series reimagines emotion not as chaos, but as structure — as a visual
language built through colour, gesture, and layered form.
The exhibition is open by appointment until 05/08/2025.To visit, feel free to contact us via Instagram or book directly through our website.

We’re delighted to announce our upcoming exhibition, “Don’t be so emotional”, a solo show by polish painter Katya Somisen.
Katya Somisen is a painter whose figurative work tells the story of humanity through the lens of emotion, color, and form. In her paintings, she deconstructs the human figure in a minimalist way, revealing inner tensions and subtle psychological nuances. Her works resemble silent symphonies — filled with both strength and fragility, where every brushstroke carries an emotional truth.
“Don’t be so emotional.”
Words once meant to quiet — now reclaimed as a starting point.
This series reimagines emotion not as chaos, but as structure — as a visual language built through colour, gesture, and layered form.
These are not illustrations of feelings, but architectures made from them. What does it mean to be “too” — too sensitive, too expressive, too much?
Here, emotionality isn’t weakness — it’s strength. A force that shapes memory, experience, and meaning.
What if true power lies not in holding it all in — but in letting the wave filed us with acceptance for it?

The Memory that was stuck by Fever – Joanna Ambroz
29.04.2025 - 07.05.2025
29 bis Boulevard du Mont Boron, Nice
We’re delighted to announce our upcoming exhibition, “The Memory that was Stuck by Fever”, a solo show by Joanna Ambroz, which is a continuation of her exhibition “Po tym wszystkim już nigdy nie będziesz sobą” in Warsaw.
Joanna Ambroz works in painting, art research, poster design, and book design in an absolute sense. Her works explore taboo topics, relationships, pleasures, and the discomforts arising from confronting oneself. In Ambroz’s work, rawness meets delicacy, and what is hard and cool ends up being vulnerable. The artist raises questions about how we deal with emotional weight and where the boundary between protection and explosion lies.
"I ask myself the following question: is it possible to repair a wounded sensitivity, or is it irreparably damaged, so that the pain from the wound will always remind us of its existence in similar situations to the previous painful events?"
“The Memory that was Stuck by Fever” serves as the second act of the Warsaw exhibition, delving even deeper into the artist's reflection. It lingers like a silent scar, where a wounded sensitivity remains, its echoes resurfacing when life brings us near what once caused the burn.

R2OT is delighted to announce the opening of its second space in Nice!
After the success of the exhibition « Po tym wszystkim już nigdy nie będziesz sobą » with Joanna Ambroz in Warsaw, we’re thrilled to open our second space located in Nice with a second exhibition of Joanna Ambroz, « A memory that stuck by fever » starting on the 29th of April.
A new chapter begins on the French Riviera — after Warsaw, we’re bringing the same energy and vision to the South of France.
Our space is housed in a historic Palais dating back to 1911, perched above the city with a sweeping view of the Baie des Anges.
A bientôt!
