Yesterday we celebrated World Whale Day 🐋💙

Having almost been hunted to extinction, many species of have begun to rebound, but many are still very, very far from their original numbers.

Today, when our primary focus is on Illegal, Unreported, and Unregulated (IUU) fishing, it is with a nod to the whales, knowing that around 300.000 whales and dolphins are killed each year as bycatch to industrial fishing and especially IUU fishing, often using banned and incredibly damaging methods. Stopping illegal fishing saves whales❗️
