Do you know what The Central Bank of Hydrogeological Data, commonly known as Bank HYDRO, is?

It is a hydrogeological database that collects information on groundwater. It includes data on sources, chemical composition, wells, and water temperature from all over Poland.

The database is extensive, containing over 400,000 hydrogeological objects. Bank HYDRO is one of the largest spatial databases in Poland, with hundreds of users accessing it daily.

Why are we talking about this?

Our brand, Geosolution, has signed a contract with the Państwowy Instytut Geologiczny - Państwowy Instytut Badawczy (PIG-PIB) to provide maintenance and development support for the applications and databases of the Państwowy Instytut Geologiczny and Państwowy Instytut Badawczy.

As part of this collaboration, our support includes the Hydrogeological Data Processing System, which assists PIG employees in managing Bank HYDRO.

Our partnership will last for two years, and we are proud to have the opportunity to support PIG employees in managing this important database.

Mateusz about himself:

👉 Hello, I'm Mateusz. I'm at my fifth year of studies at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology. I mainly coded in Python. Recently, I got interested in web applications, and I want to learn some practical things about them. In my free time, I like to watch some series - "The Office" lately - or train at the gym. I'm also an F1 fan.

Krzysztof about himself:

👉 Hi, My name is Krzysztof. Husband, father of two kids (5 and 4 years old), living in Wrocław. I have over 10 years of work experience. Technologically, a full stack programmer: c # as backend, creating pipelines for CI/CD and doing some frontend from time to time. Also, I had a chance to work with some exotic technologies?. In my free time, I learn about finances (in practice and theory) and travel around Lower Silesia (sometimes a bit further).

Recently, our Team participated in culinary workshops in Katowice and Wrocław 🍽

We had a chance to work with professional chefs and learn how to prepare unusual, international dishes – it was just another occasion to prove that we make a really good team, not only in terms of IT but also while cooking together! The grand finale of our efforts was a truly royal feast with delicious food, endless conversations and lots of fun🍤🎉

Now, we can honestly say that we are masters of IT and cooking 👩‍🍳👨‍💻
