For some time, “Green Capital in South Africa” meant working remotely: with a laptop, a stable Wi-Fi connection, and a strong belief in the region’s potential.

As of April 1st, that has changed. And no, this is not an April Fools’ joke.

We now have a physical office in Cape Town:

This step reflects our long-term commitment to the region. A local presence allows us to be closer to our partners in South Africa, Zambia, Tanzania, and Namibia, enabling faster decision-making, stronger relationships, and more efficient project ex*****on. Because in our business, proximity matters.

🌿 Solar Farms & Sheep – A Perfect Duo? 🐑

Have you ever heard of an innovative way to combine renewable energy and agriculture? One remarkable example comes from Austria, where solar farms are being paired with sheep grazing! 🌞

Sheep not only add charm to the solar farm landscape but also serve a crucial role in maintaining the vegetation around the panels. Their grazing naturally prevents overgrowth, reducing the need for mechanical mowing. In Vienna, a former gravel pit has been transformed into a thriving agrovoltaic site, where sheep help restore soil health while shaded under the panels on hot days.
