Amazing vibe during Jazz na Starówce Festival.

Obejrzyjcie archiwalne zdjęcia z lat 60-tych, a potem porównajcie je ze stanem obecnym. Aż trudno sobie wyobrazić ogrom prac i nakładów aby doprowadzić go do obecnej świetności.
🔸pierwsza była rycerska wieża z XIV/XV w. widoczna wciąż od pd-wsch strony
🔸budowę zamku zleciła w 1570r. rodzina von Rohnau mieszkająca w tych okolicach od XIIIw.
🔸nad bramą wjazdową jest wykuta swoista inwentaryzacja wspominająca m.in. , że w 1580r. budowę pokryto dachem
🔸elewacja zamku pokryta była późnorenesansowym sgrafitto, które gdzie nie gdzie widać do dziś
🔸pod koniec XIXw budowli przybyły elementy neogotyckie
🔸Po 1945r. zamek został kompletnie splądrowany i zdewastowany i mimo prób przygotowania do modernizacji, w ruinie dotrwał do 2003r.
🔸warto obejrzeć jak ciekawie wyglądają wyczyszczone, ale nie otynkowane na nowo mury i jak doskonale grają z nowoczesnym wnętrzem
🔸rzeżby m.in. Katarzyny Nowak i Krzysztofa Klapkowskiego porozstawiane w zakątkach zamku zachwycają

Take a look at the archival photos from the 1960s and then compare them with the current state. It is hard to imagine the enormous amount of work and expenditure to bring it to its present glory.
🔸at the beginning it was a knight's tower from the 14th / 15th c., still visible from the S-E side of the building
🔸the construction of the castle was commissioned in 1570. by the von Rohnau family living in this area since the 13th century.
🔸a specific inventory is carved above the entrance gate, mentioning, inter alia, that in 1580. „the building was covered with a roof”
🔸the facade of the castle was covered with late Renaissance sgrafitto, which, nowhere, is visible today
🔸at the end of the 19th century, neo-gothic elements were added to the building
🔸after 1945 the castle was completely plundered and devastated and, despite attempts to prepare for modernization, it survived in ruin until 2003.
🔸it is worth seeing how interesting the cleaned, but not re-plastered walls look like and how they fit perfectly with a modern interior
🔸sculptures, incl. Katarzyna Nowak and Krzysztof Klapkowski, placed in the corners of the castle, delight the eyes
