Rabbit Rescue in Torun

One of the patients seen by the doctor yesterday was Kudłaty, who came into our care two months ago—literally at the last possible moment. His "owners" had been evicted from their apartment and simply left him to fend for himself.

Kudłaty was in terrible shape: severely emaciated, covered in matted fur, and suffering from acute inflammation of the intestines, liver, and kidneys, as well as dental issues and festering tear ducts.

For a long time, he had no appetite, and we were worried about whether he would pull through. But he did...

He is doing wonderfully now; he has become joyful and curious, and he has an appetite for everything—even hay! And above all, a zest for life ❤️

The only thing he is missing now is a real home where he will be well cared for, receive medical treatment when needed, and never be abandoned again.
