Special events
Apart from report generation due to meeting basic criteria: time-angle-distance, DS520/B and DS540/B devices generate and transmit reports when special events appear:
1. change of ignition state -> ignition is turned ON, ignition is turned OFF
2. change of digital inputs state -> e.g. in case of connection to OEM fuel level sensor
3. use of iButton identifiers -> driver’s identification by any or authorised only iButtons
4. events from CAN/J1708 bus (DS540/B) -> e.g. opening/closing vehicle door/trunk/bonnet
5. change of power supply (TytanSAT devices with internal battery) -> switching from external power to internal battery and vice versa

Depending on the event and the configuration, the devices:
- generate reports which are sent to the server with the nearest data packet transmissions,
- generate reports and transmit data to the server immediately.
